About KeyK

A typing speed test that does exactly one thing well.

KeyK is a free typing test. You pick 30 seconds, 60 seconds, or 2 minutes, type the words on screen, and get your words per minute and accuracy the moment the timer ends. That's the whole product.

There is no account to create, no email to hand over, no leaderboard to sign up for. The test runs entirely in your browser, which means your keystrokes never leave this page. We built it this way on purpose: a typing test has no business knowing what you typed.

What KeyK measures: raw typing speed (WPM, counting only correct characters) and accuracy (correct keystrokes out of total keystrokes). Nothing else. Your score is computed locally and disappears when you close the tab.

Who is it for?

Anyone curious how fast they type: students, job seekers brushing up for data-entry tests, programmers who live in their editor, and touch-typing learners tracking their progress. If you want to understand the number itself, read how typing speed is measured. If you want a better number, read tips to type faster.

Who makes KeyK?
